Both of them? There are some very talented wrestlers in the world who have made quite the careers for themselves without working for WWE. Those wrestlers can be be incredibly successful, but it begs the question of what would happen if they worked on the bigger stage. We might be getting to find that out about a team who has been working on a high level for a very long time now.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Double Bonus: Two More Title Matches Officially Set For WWE Summerslam

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Motor City Machine Guns are expected to go to WWE in the near future, though nothing has been officially announced. The team (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) left TNA Wrestling earlier this year and recently appeared to say goodbye to the independent circuit. There is no word on when they could debut, though the team is scheduled for a match with SMASH Wrestling on August 18.

Opinion: I’m more than a bit surprised by this one but there is something awesome about one of the best TNA teams of all time getting their chance on the biggest stage around. They had a great reunion in TNA Wrestling over the last few years and could be used either on their own or as a team. Hopefully this works out for them and thankfully they are getting the chance.

What do you think of the change? How should the team debut? Let us know in the comments below.
