Worth a talk. AEW has added a new dimension to the wrestling landscape, as it is offering the wrestlers involved a new place to go after so many years of WWE dominance. There are several wrestlers who do not fit in with WWE and need to try their hand elsewhere. That might be the case again with three stars, who could be on their way to AEW under a familiar sounding name.

According to Fightful Select, AEW is in talks with Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin and MVP for a potential deal. The team, formerly known as the Hurt Business in WWE, could be known as the Hurt Syndicate if they come to AEW. There is no word on how far along the talks have come or when the team could be brought in if a deal is made. Benjamin was released from WWE in September 2023 while Lashley and MVP’s deals expired in August.

The team is quite good. Check out the Hurt Business in WWE:

Opinion: This is an interesting way to go and I have no idea why the Hurt Business was not given another chance in WWE. The team was quite good at what they were doing and one of the highlights of the last few years. If AEW can bring them in as a similar act, it would make sense for the company to see what they can do. The Hurt Business is different enough than anything EW has and it seems that they understand that.

What do you think of the idea? How should AEW use the team? Let us know in the comments below.
