Back at it. While WWE currently presents two weekly main roster shows, there were times when major shows airing in prime time were rare occurrences. It was a special moment to see them air on television with stars facing off. WWE has announced that they will be bringing back one of its most important series and now we know a good bit more about what to expect.

This week, WWE confirmed that Saturday Night’s Main Event will be returning in December as a quarterly special. According to PWInsider.com, the show will last two hours and air live at 10pm EST, as well as at 7pm PST, with the latter not airing on tape delay. The show, which will be held in Long Island, New York, will not change the annual post Christmas Madison Square Garden show. There is no word on what will take place on the show.

Opinion: That is certainly a big time show and it feels like WWE is putting in the effort to make this show special. Saturday Night’s Main Event has not been around for a very long time now but it could be interesting if done with some more effort put behind it. There is a good chance that WWE is going to do just that with the show, though they have a lot of work to make it work.
