There is a history. There have been all kinds of wrestling promotions over the history of the sport and some of them have had quite the impact. The catch though is fans might not realize just how much of an impact there has been until far later. Now though, WWE might be considering bringing back a smaller promotion which had quite the impact on the wrestling world.

According to PWInsider.com by way of Cagesideseats.com, WWE’s rumored revival of Evolve is still being considered but is not guaranteed at the moment. Some wrestlers had been contacted about a potential taping date but the unknown date has since been canceled. There is no word on when or where the show could air and WWE has not made any announcement on the idea. WWE purchased the Evolve promotion in 2020.

Opinion: This sounds like something that is coming sooner rather than later and it would not surprise me in the slightest to see it happen around WrestleMania season. That is how WWE brought in Speed last year and now it might be time for a bigger series with Evolve. It might not be the biggest history, but it is something that could give some talented wrestlers something to do.
