Where you lead, he will follow. To describe Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens as joined at the hip might be the understatement of the day. These two have been linked together since they started wrestling together and there’s no reason to believe that it’s going to change anytime soon. They’re currently teaming together on “Smackdown Live” but both also have singles matches. In this case, it’s another instance of one following the other.

As announced on WWE.com, AJ Styles will face Zayn in a non-title match on this week’s episode of “Smackdown Live”. The match comes a week after Zayn interfered in Styles’ match with Owens, helping to give his friend the victory. At the moment, Styles is still looking for an opponent to challenge him for the title at January’s “Royal Rumble 2018”.

Zayn and Styles aren’t exactly strangers.

AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens: SmackDown LIVE, Dec. 26, 2017

Opinion: It makes sense but PLEASE don’t let this lead to another three way title match at “Royal Rumble 2018”. I’ve seen far too many of those for one life and I don’t need to see another one of them in January. I’m not sure why having singles matches is considered a less than ideal situation but that seems to be the case in WWE.

Do you think this will lead to a pay per view title match? Who should take the title from Styles? Let us know in the comments below.
