Reunion time. Stables have been a big deal in wrestling for a very long time now and that continues to be the case to this day. You will often see wrestlers put together in groups to show what they can do together. Then at some point most of them tend to split up though and go off on their own. One former stable has done rather well on their own now and one member is honoring his former stablemates.

Earlier this week, PWI released it’s annual 500 list, with the three former members of the Shield (Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley) taking the top three spots respectively. Following the announcement, Rollins posted a photo of the Shield doing their signature fist pose, seemingly in homage to their success. The Shield originally teamed from 2012-2014, with various reunions following, including the last in 2019.

Opinion: The trio taking the top spots on the list is a rather impressive feat and something that you are probably not going to be seeing happen again anytime soon. There is so much talent around the wrestling world today that seeing one former group dominating like this is hard to fathom. The Shield really was an influential and dominant faction and they are showing what kind of talent they really had.
