Getting the right combination can go a long way in determining how successful they are, with the top starts finding something of an iconic look in a lot of cases. Now though, it seems that WWE wanted to change the look of one of its biggest stars in a pretty huge way.

During an appearance on the Wrestling With Freddie podcast, Becky Lynch’s former boyfriend Jeff Dye revealed that WWE once wanted to shave Lynch’s head for an angle. Lynch refused, despite various pitches for the angle, which would see her having a breakdown. There is no word on when the angle would have taken place or where the story would have gone.

Opinion: I believe it is safe to say that Lynch made the right call here, as her red hair has become a trademark for her. At the same time, the path that she did take went on to become about as successful as imaginable so well done on standing up to WWE and one of their less brilliant ideas. It could be interesting to see where WWE would be if more wrestlers did just that.
