There he is. There are certain wrestlers who only pop up every so often in WWE but when they do show up, they make it count. Those are the kinds of stars who can make a huge impact as soon as they show up so having them appear is a good thing. That seems to be the case again at an upcoming show, as one of the biggest stars in WWE history is likely to be back.

Cody Rhodes defeated Brock Lesnar at Summerslam, with Lesnar congratulating Rhodes before walking off. Lesnar has not been seen since and it was not clear when he would be returning to WWE. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Lesnar is not expected to return until January 24 at the Royal Rumble. It is not clear what Lesnar will be doing at the show or whether he will be wrestling.

Opinion: I’m not sure if this is any kind of a surprise as it’s kind of what Lesnar does. He’ll leave for the last few months of the year and then show up for his big WrestleMania season run. Assuming he is involved in the match, Lesnar is going to be one of the focal points of the Royal Rumble and that should open up more than a few options as we get closer to whatever Lesnar is going in Philadelphia next year.
