Back at it. An injury can change the trajectory of any wrestler’s career as it can stop their momentum cold. There is very little that can be done to fix things immediately, as often times the only thing that a wrestler can do is wait for things to get better. According to PWInsider.com, Drew McIntyre returned to action at live events over the weekend, losing to World heavyweight Champion Damian Priest and Jey Uso in a triple threat match at a live event in White Plains, New York. This was McIntyre’s first live event match since April 24 and only his second match of any kind in over a month as he was out of action with a fractured elbow. McIntyre is scheduled to challenge Priest for the title at Clash At The Castle on June 15.
McIntyre is a star. Check out what he can do when he is in the ring:
Opinion: This is great to see as we are less than two weeks away from Clash At The Castle and that means WWE has little time left to get ready. McIntyre is likely going to headline the show and he needed to be cleared to return to the ring. This should mean we’re ready for the big show and McIntyre is likely getting ready for one of the most important matches that he will ever have, with live events serving as nice practice.
