He’s in. Wrestlers have a long history of attempting their hand at acting, often with mixed results. Every so often you will see a wrestler trying to get into the acting world and most of the time it does not work. That has never stopped wrestlers from making the attempt though and that is what another WWE Superstar is doing again, hopefully with more success than most.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: Possible Hint At The Rock Showing Up On Monday Night Raw

Peacock has released a trailer for its upcoming romantic comedy series “Laid”, which will debut its entire first season on the streaming service on December 19, 2024. The series will feature Ettore “Big E.” Ewen as a guest star, though it is not clear for how many episodes. Though Big E. has appeared as himself in non-wrestling roles before, this will be his first on-screen appearance as an original character.

This could be interesting. Check out the trailer and Big E. in WWE:

Opinion: This is something you see with wrestlers every so often and while it is a nice first step, it is hard to believe that Big E. will make a big dent in the acting world. He certainly has charisma and will likely be able to land some roles here and there, but the track record is certainly against him. For now though, this is cool to see and hopefully his time in the series is deemed a success.
