Another New Title Grudge Match Added To NXT Takeover 36

That’s where they’re going next. We are less than two weeks away from NXT Takeover 36 and this could be the last time you see the show in this format. There seem to be quite a few changes coming to NXT and that could mean we are in for some very different looking Takeovers in the future. At least this one is looking good and now we have another match set for the show.

This week on NXT, Ted DiBiase interrupted LA Knight and Cameron Grimes. DiBiase said that he wanted to see Grimes figure out a way out of being Knight’s butler because he was too good to be stuck there. Knight eventually agreed to give Grimes another shot at the Million Dollar Title at Takeover 36, but this time, DiBiase would become Knight’s butler if Grimes lost. Despite Grimes’ protests, DiBiase agreed to the terms. Knight has defeated Grimes in their past two title matches.

Opinion: This is a good way to go with the story because there is little left to do other than having Grimes win the title from Knight. The fans have been ready to explode over seeing Grimes finally get the big title win and that is where we are likely going here. It has been one of the better stories in wrestling over the last few months and this should set up the grand finale.
