That’s a lot. There are all kinds of WWE events throughout the year, with some of them standing out more than others. Some of these events take place in major stadiums, with WrestleMania having become big enough that it has stretched out to two nights. Summerslam is set to do the same in 2026, but it seems that there might be a change in plans before we get there.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is a strong chance that next year’s Summerslam will be a two night event for the first time. One source said “stay tuned” and the other described it as “almost definite”. There is no word on the location or date for the 2025 edition. Summerslam 2024, held on one night, took place at Cleveland Browns Stadium while Summerslam 2026 is scheduled for US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Summerslam is a big one. Check out what happened there this year:
Opinion: Is this really a surprise? WWE is all about expansion and going as big as they can with everything, including its major shows. Summerslam has been held in NFL sized stadiums for the last few years now and if there is an interest in stretching the event out two two nights, why shouldn’t WWE see if they can make it work? This is already happening in two years, so doing it a year earlier isn’t exactly shocking.
