IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: Current Plans For Inaugural WWE Women’s US Champion (Possible SPOILER)
During a new edition of his Grilling JR podcast, AEW broadcaster Jim Ross gave an update on his health status. Ross said that once the wound from his hip replacement surgery heals, he will be at “100%”. This comes after Ross had been dealing with skin cancer and problems associated with a fall. He also said that his current AEW deal expires in August 2025 but he believes he will be retained, citing his limited schedule, which he says he could continue doing for years. Ross, who will be 73 next month, has been with AEW since its inception.
Ross has been a good addition to AEW. Check out his time in the company:
Opinion: What matters the most out of this whole thing is that Ross is getting closer to full health. He has beaten skin cancer, which is a rather serious situation in the first place. For now though, he has one more thing to get past and then he can get back to what he wants to do with no major health issues. Ross is still valuable to AEW and it would be nice to have him back, especially if he isn’t in pain.
