No no no no. It’s “Wrestlemania” weekend and that means it’s time to start seeing more and more of the stars of the wrestling world. Of course there’s a ton of WWE stuff to look at but at the same time, there are several offerings from the rest of the wrestling world. Sometimes you can see a bunch of people you haven’t seen before, but at the same time you’ll get some presentations from promotions you know. That was the case with the “Impact Wrestling” vs. “Lucha Underground” show on Friday, but everyone advertised didn’t show up.

Hopefully this doesn’t happen for this match.

Road to Redemption: Aries vs Patron Parts 1 & 2 | IMPACT! Highlights Apr 5 2018

According to Wrestlinginc.com, Alberto El Patron no showed last night’s show despite being advertised in the main event tag team match. Instead of the advertised match with El Patron teaming with Pentagon Jr. vs. Austin Aries and Fenix, the other three had a triple threat match with Pentagon Jr. picking up the win. El Patron was seen earlier in the day at WrestleCon and later appeared at the “Redemption” press conference. There is no word given as to why El Patron didn’t appear.

El Patron and Aries have been having issues, such as on a recent episode of “Impact Wrestling”.

Opinion: Here we go again. El Patron seems to have drama following him no matter where he goes and this is yet another case. I have no idea why El Patron didn’t come to the show but unless he was suddenly sick (as in legitimately rather than “sick”), I have no idea why he didn’t appear. This doesn’t make “Impact Wrestling” look good and there’s no way of knowing if El Patron will show up at the pay per view or not. The match’s build has all been taped and what happens if he no shows again? Also, how bad does it make the rest of the roster, who actually showed up, when El Patron keeps getting pushed? Just bad all around.

Should El Patron stay with Impact Wrestling? Will he no show again? Let us know in the comments below.
