It’s on the card. We are less than a month away from AEW Revolution and the card is starting to come together. There are all kinds of matches that can be added to the show and as usual, AEW tends to start at the top of the card. They covered that this week by figuring out who would challenge for the World Title. It just did not exactly turn out as planned.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Emotional Title Change Takes Place On AEW Dynamite
This week’s AEW Dynamite opened with a #1 contenders match between Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland. The match wound up going to a time limit draw, meaning there was no winner. Following the match, AEW President Tony Khan announced that the two would both challenge Samoa Joe for the title at Revolution in a triple threat match. Revolution is set for March 3.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that was not that had to see coming as they telegraphed the ending faily well. That doesn’t make it the worst result though and now we should be in for a big time title match next month. For now, we had a heck of a match on free television, as the two of them beat the fire out of each other, as they have done throughout their previous two matches.
