That’s a special honor. There are a lot of titles to be won in wrestling but at some point, almost every wrestler is going to lose their championship. It isn’t something fun for them to do, but it has to happen at some point. That does not leave much for wrestlers to keep forever, but now we are getting to see someone receive a very special honor that will stick around.
Thunder Rosa has announced that Bexar County, Texas, near San Antonio, has declared that March 16 will be known as Thunder Rosa Day. The tweeted announcement included photos of Rosa with the AEW Women’s Title, receiving a plaque declaring the honor. Rosa defeated Britt Baker to win the title on March 16 in her hometown of San Antonio, marking her first championship in AEW.
Today Bexar county proclaimed 3:16 as Thunder Rosa Day!

Opinion: That is a very special honor and not something you see happen to everyone. Rosa has come a long way and her road to the title was a special thing to see. I was happy to see her finally get her big moment and now this comes along as a bonus. Her reign is already off to a good start and there is a real chance that she will get to hold it for a long time to come.
What do you think of Rosa? How long will she be champion? Let us know in the comments below.
