Hopefully it’s not serious. Injuries are a major threat and reality in professional wrestling. It doesn’t matter whether you’re wresting in front of 50 people in a flea market of 75,000 people in the Mercedes-Benz SuperDome at WrestleMania 34, there’s a chance that something very bad could happen to you at any give moment. Sometimes it’s a botched spot, sometimes it’s not taking a move properly and sometimes it’s just an accident. Unfortunately it seems to be the case again tonight at a television taping.
In case you’re not familiar.
According to 411mania.com, Aero Star suffered some form of injury tonight during a tag match between DJZ and Andrew Everett vs. Aero Star and Drago at the Impact Wrestling tapings. There is currently no word on what happened or the severity, but the injury took place either late in the match or after the match. Aero Star’s legs were moving and, after some time, he was able to get to his feet and walk to the back with assistance. Aero Star is best known in America for his time in Lucha Underground and has only wrestled a handful of matches for Impact Wrestling since debuting earlier this year.

Opinion: The fact that he was able to get up and walk to the back, even with help, is a very encouraging sign. It’s even better than he wasn’t taken out on a stretcher or anything like that. Hopefully there’s nothing serious to the injury and he’s able to move on with his career. If noting else it would be great to get an update on his status during the week’s remaining television tapings.
