That is one way to go. There are all kinds of issues behind the scenes of wrestling promotions, ranging from the most regional promotions to the top in the world. That is the case with WWE, who occasionally have some troubles with people who are never seen on camera. It seemed that was the case earlier this week and now we know how things are going.

Earlier this week, a report surfaced alleging that WWE producer Lee Fitting was dismissed from his role at ESPN over sexual misconduct allegations. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, at least one person backstage in WWE said that the allegations against Fitting were seen as public knowledge. Fitting was hired anyway and it was also said that this is the kind of baggage that comes with the hire. Fitting’s work in WWE has been praised and there is nothing to suggest that he will lose his job as a result of the story.

Opinion: This is one of those things that unfortunately is a reality in WWE. At the end of the day, the company benefits from having Fitting around and WWE is willing to live with what that means. It might not make the most sense and it might not sound right, but Fitting is not likely to go anywhere as a result of this whole thing. That very well might not be right or good, but it is how things are going.
