Braun Strowman doesn’t need a hand. Asking who should step up to help Braun Strowman is like asking who should step up to help Chuck Norris. Neither man needs it. Braun Strowman is The Monster Among Men; Chuck Norris checks under his bed at night for Braun Strowman.

But since Norris is evidently not an option, Strowman must choose a tag team partner for WrestleMania 34. On that night, Strowman and his choice for partner will face The Bar for the Raw Tag Team Championships.

It’s a match that many fans likely did not expect. Strowman has been on a rampage in WWE for most of 2017 and all of 2018 thus far. He is an annihilator and he has destroyed everyone in his path. It’s not often that anyone makes that kind of impact in Vince McMahon’s company so Strowman is indeed unique in that regard.

Braun Strowman vs. Cesaro: Raw, March 19, 2018

He’s also unique because he seems to be the total package. He is 6’8” and 385 pounds, but he is agile on his feet. He looks like a horror movie monster come to life but he has a fantastic sense of humor. Braun Strowman’s character shouldn’t be able to put two words together but Strowman the man is articulate on the mic.

He is not just everything WWE wants in a big man. He is everything WWE wants in a Superstar. Had he come along before The Shield and exploded in popularity the way he has now, there’s a good chance Roman Reigns would not be the top guy.

Therein lays the issue for Strowman now. He has had a great run so far. But when it comes to just how high he can go in WWE, the top spots are already taken. Reigns is of course the man. John Cena is part-time now but he’s still a megastar. Brock Lesnar is less than part-time but he is WWE’s pampered prizefighter.

Of course Cena will not be around forever and Lesnar will eventually leave again. It could very well be that both men will disappear after WrestleMania 34. If that happens, then 2018 could truly become the year of Braun Strowman. It may be his for the taking.

Braun Strowman earns controversial Tag Team Battle Royal win: Raw, March 13, 2018

But his WrestleMania 34 status was unknown for months with very good reason. All of the big names were getting booked while he was left out of the conversation. Now he is finally on the way to The Grandest Stage of Them All. He earned that spot. But should he be a tag team champion?

Braun Strowman is in the match probably because the belts are changing hands. WWE likely would not book him on the biggest night of the year, only to see him lose. That’s especially true due to the run he’s on. So since he is in this spot and since he is making the best of it, why not have fun with it?
