We have decided to feature the match between Woods and Jey Uso that recently took place on ‘Smackdown Live.’ This wasn’t long before the injury and may be the last match you’ll see him involved in for some time, so we do highly suggest watching it as a reminder of how talented this man is.
During a live stream backstage during ‘Smackdown’ on his UpUpDownDown YouTube channel, Woods explained that it was an MCL sprain he had suffered. Becky Lynch, who was with him for the stream explained that she has suffered a similar injury and shouldn’t take longer than a month to heal and that she wrestled with the injury the whole time.
Woods didn’t specify if it was a grade 1 or 2 sprain. A grade 1 sprain can take up to a week to heal while a grade 2 sprain can take 2-4 weeks. This confirms that Woods shouldn’t miss too much action, thankfully.
We recently reported that there are big plans for The New Day, and an injury worse than this could’ve done bad damage to the team and plans.
The stream in question can be found here, which we highly suggest you check out if you’re interested in gaming at all. They are getting hyped about the release of WindJammers.
