Number 3- Drew McIntyre

While he may be currently injured, McIntyre has made a serious impact in the short time he has been back with the company since travelling around the world and becoming a very prominent star as Drew Galloway on the independent circuit. Within a few months of being signed, he defeated Bobby Roode to capture the NXT Championship before losing it against Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas in the match that resulted in his current injury.

During his last tenure with the company, McIntyre was referred to as ‘the Chosen One’ and won several mid-card Championships before ultimately finding himself in the 3 Man Band with former WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champion Heath Slater and former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. This stunted and ruined any chance he had during his run in that time at being Champion.

Now that he has reinvented himself and captured the NXT Championship, what else is there for the man to do down in NXT? The most we can think of is to face Almas if he retains the NXT Championship for that long or finishing up the storyline with The Undisputed Era, which seemed to be taking off until his injury.

McIntyre is extremely talented and when he arrived in NXT, he felt like a top guy already. He was on another level and needed to be treated as such. This wasn’t specifically due to the way he acted, it was just how his aura felt. He feels like a Champion!

Once he returns and most likely heads to the main roster, he is destined for success. Whether he ends up working ‘Raw’ or ‘Smackdown Live,’ the future is bright for McIntyre. We entirely anticipate that by the end of 2018, we will have seen McIntyre capture gold on the main roster.
