Number 5- Mojo Rawley
Wow! Did you see the promo Mojo Rawley cut on Twitter against Zack Ryder before their match at ‘Clash of Champions?’ If you did, you’d know how fired up and fantastic Rawley can be on the mic. If rumors are to be believed (and believe us, we know a thing or two about them), backstage officials were impressed by the promo and performance by Rawley at the pay-per-view itself.
So what does this mean for Rawley? A push! Heading into 2018, Rawley has broken out of his shell and can now work as a dominant, cocky heel. He pushed his storyline with Ryder to a must-watch for many fans. If he can continue working at that rate both on the mic and in the ring, people will take notice.
Regardless of where Rawley ends up, he is going somewhere. He could capture a mid-card or main event title on either ‘Raw’ or ‘Smackdown Live’ and with enough momentum, he could certainly feel like a star. He has the talent. He just needs to continue showcasing it on television and not just Twitter and a kick-off PPV match.
This year at ‘WrestleMania 33,’ Rawley surprised the world when he became the latest winner of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. While to many the win didn’t mean much, to Rawley and people that thought more critically about it, it meant that the company saw something in him. Sure, whatever they planned probably didn’t pan out, but that was the first spark.
As we walk into 2018 now, Rawley is barely featured on ‘Smackdown Live.’ He currently has a lot of momentum coming out of his ‘Clash of Champions’ match against Ryder, but that won’t last forever. If WWE can capitalize on Rawley and his talent, 2018 may be the most pivotal year in the career of Rawley as he can only go on to bigger and better things.
