While there is no confirmation that the rumor is true, former WWE Superstar Jeff Jarrett may be an entrant into the latest class of legends to be etched in WWE history.
This comes after his recent stint in a rehabilitation clinic sponsored by WWE and a growth in the relationship between the two parties.
Jarrett is a six-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, a one-time WWE European Champion, and a one-time WWE Tag Team Champion.
While in WCW, Jarrett was a four-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and a three-time WCW United States Champion.
This list of accolades would be deemed worthy of a placement into the Hall of Fame, so if this rumor does turn out to be true, it does make sense.
Among Jarrett, other rumored names include the late Bam Bam Bigelow, Mark Henry and Kid Rock, who would be the Celebrity Wing inductee.
The WWE 2018 Hall of Fame induction ceremony takes place on Friday, April 6 at 7:30pm EST and will emanate from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans during ‘WrestleMania 34’ week and will air live exclusively on the WWE Network, including a red carpet, in its entirety.
