Sunny has made headlines over the past several years since last appearing for the company. Between battles with cancer, offering up her services on Skype and engaging social media to donate for her cosmetic surgeries, very few of her endeavors have been met with public applause. And according to a new report, the WWE Hall of Famer may be close to a six-figure deal with a major adult film company.
Per TMZ, the 42-year-old, real name Tammy Sytch, is crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s on a major offer from popular adult film company Vivid Entertainment. As noted, the deal will make her fairly wealthy, and moreover, has longevity. TMZ reports the goal is to make her a bonafide adult film star, and is not just for one appearance.
The report notes Sunny is very close to agreeing to the deal, and she is already preparing to shoot her first appearance.
Interestingly enough, Vivid is the same company that made former WWE Intercontinental Champion Chyna “famous” as she dabbled into the world of adult entertainment. Her appearances angered many of those within WWE, and caused bad blood between the two sides.
When Triple H appeared on “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s WWE Network podcast earlier in the year, he noted Chyna’s status puts WWE in a very tough position. While the company would like to recognize her for her in-ring accolades, WWE is unlikely to put her into the Hall of Fame because of her outside endeavors.
Sunny was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011 however, which means the company would have to pull her out of it if it wanted to cut off all association.
Editor’s Note
This could become a very ugly situation for WWE. It can’t be hypocritical between the two, and must find a way to walk the line carefully.
