Latest on Wade Barrett’s WWE Status

It has been several months since Wade Barrett has been seen on WWE television. Last month, Wrestling Rumors reported that Barrett has been dealing with issues concerning his travel documents that have prevented him from being on the road full time with the company.

Barrett debuted his new gimmick last week in Dublin, and even competed in dark matches at the WWE tapings in the U.K. He has revealed, however, that Tuesday night’s event in Newcastle would be his last event on the current U.K. tour, and gave no further information.

There is still no word on when he may return to action, but it does appear that he is continuing to have problems with his visa. Until he can get that sorted, he will be unable to travel to the United States and work events.
