Finn Balor Discusses Jushin "Thunder" Liger's Impact on His Career

In a recent video released on WWE’s official YouTube Channel, Finn Balor talks about Jushin “Thunder” Liger and his impact on the wrestling business.

Balor also discusses how Liger trained him during his time in Japan, and that the current NXT Champion learned much of what he knows from Jushin.

It was previously reported that Balor was a big part of WWE bringing Liger over to work the “NXT Takeover: Brooklyn” special event this Saturday. Liger himself stated that Balor, along with William Regal and Matt Bloom (formerly Tensai), were the three people who really pushed for him to make the appearance.

Liger is scheduled to take on Tyler Breeze this Saturday at the “NXT Takeover: Brooklyn” event as previously stated, however, this is a one off match, with no other future bouts being discussed at this time.

This will be Jushin’s first ever match in a WWE ring, as he never wrestled for the company once WCW was bought out.

Balor will compete in the main event of the card, as he defends his NXT Championship against Kevin Owens in a Ladder match.
