It’s SmackDown Live’s final show before WrestleMania, and most of the blue brand’s titles are on the line. We’re promised a “new” Elimination Chamber, and we expect the titular six-man title match to be a great one.
On top of that, WWE’s hottest young tag team tries to ride their momentum to the top of the card, three major feuds prove the blue brand’s women’s division isn’t getting left behind, Ziggler continues trying to convince the world he’s really a bad guy, and former Wyatt brothers settle things inside the ring.
After months of speculation, the ultimate reveal finally happened: Mickie James was La Luchadora all along! (Yeah, no, there was another woman previously under the mask.) Determined to prove that the old shouldn’t be overshadowed by the new, James—a six-time champ in WWE—set her sights on the Irish Lass Kicker, Becky Lynch. But was Mickie able to extinguish that straight fire?
It was a competitive match that saw Mickie nearly claim the victory with a Mick Kick–unfortunately for her, Becky rolled under the ropes to evade the pin. The end result saw Becky pin Mickie in a quick roll-up, ensuring that this rivalry isn’t quite settled.
