The WWE wants faces to “no sell” their losses. In a new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was revealed that the WWE is now teaching their “babyface” characters to “no sell” their losses by smiling, engaging the fans, and playing up their characters.

Many noticed that WWE Diva Eva Marie was smiling, even laughing on her way back to the locker room following her elimination in the Divas Traditional Elimination Tag Team Match at the 2013 Survivor Series Pay-Per-View. This was said to be a prime example of what the WWE is teaching their faces to do once they’ve lost a match.

In reference to what the term “no sell” means, if someone is “no selling” a loss, it means that they will not act angry, upset, or hurt by the loss, no matter the circumstance.
