New reports have provided an update on Jonathan Coachman returning to WWE. As previously reported, Coachman recently teased a return to the company when proclaiming that soon he would make an announcement about himself working in wrestling again. However, according to recent tweets, this may no longer be the case.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that they had heard prior to the WWE Network launch that Coachman would be returning to WWE on occasion to appear on a limited basis on the Network. Coachman was set to continue his work at ESPN, but would be featured sporadically during WWE Network events and programs.

This deal has apparently fallen through the cracks, or just been put on hold. Coachmen recently responded to a tweet from a fan claiming that WWE does not want him back. The fan told Coachman that everyone wanted to see him back, and Coachman replied, “Except WWE.”

Editor’s Note:
The Coach has come a long way since his initial run in WWE. I’d like to see him do some WWE Network spots for sure.
