Last Thursday, we reported that Jonathan Fatu, stage name “Jimmy Uso.” had been arrested for a second DUI charge. We are now learning that Fatu was NOT charged with a second DUI, but had rather turned himself in for being cited for “driving on a suspended license.”

Keith M. Goan, Fatu’s attorney, has been requesting that all news outlets update this story. Fatu was placed on probation originally after pleading No Contest to his previous DUI charge from 2011. Goan states that Fatu completed the entirety of his probationary term as mandated by the Court. While waiting for the termination of this probation to be declared, the citation was issued to Fatu and a violation of probation was filed.

Goan and Fatu are stating that this citation was an error, as his probationary status should have been removed by then. However, the violation of probation resulted in an arrest warrant being filed. Fatu then turned himself in, which resulted in his recent arrest, not DUI charges.
