News Regarding the Initial Issues Surrounding the Launch of the WWE Network

A new report from PWInsider.com has provided updated news regarding the initial issues surrounding the launch of the WWE Network. As the WWE Network launched on Feb. 24, the demand for subscriptions was so high that many people could not even sign-up for the service at 9 a.m. as advertised. The majority of those trying could not subscribe for the WWE Network until 1 p.m. or later.

Signing-up was not the only problem users experienced on launch day. When finally logged in, many WWE Network subscribers found that the live streaming content ran great, while accessing the On-Demand library was a hassle. The constant complaint has been endless buffering or dead freezes while streaming the On-Demand content, and that’s only if you can get what event you select to actually begin to play. This issue was even seen on the Feb. 24 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” as Jerry “The King” Lawler tried to open a PPV event by selection, and was returned to the home page after clicking on the video he wanted to watch.

These issues have continued over the past 24 hours. Playstation 4 and Xbox 360 users are also reporting that the WWE application on each device still does not let the user login to the Network. As you insert your email and password, it will tell you some of your information is wrong whether you typed it in correctly or not.

There apparently has been zero meltdowns at the WWE Headquarters over said issues, as the actual organization and provider of the network is MLB Advanced Media.  MLBAM has been overwhelmed with the amount of patrons trying to subscribe to the WWE Network, as they told Deadspin.com that the instant demand for the WWE Network exceeded anything they had seen in, “14 years of doing e-commerce.”
