Goldust and Cody Rhodes May Face Each Other at WrestleMania XXX

Current WWE Tag Team Champions Goldust and Cody Rhodes may face each other at WrestleMania XXX. According to a report from F4Wonline.com, WWE Creative is looking to build a WrestleMania XXX match between the brothers, in which Goldust, possibly as Dustin Rhodes (Runnels) will turn on his brother and become the heel of the program.

In the report, possible finishes to Sunday’s Hell in a Cell PPV were being discussed, and one of the finishes talked about was putting the Tag Team Championship belts back on the Shield at the event. However, WWE Creative would like to keep the titles on Goldust and Cody until the “Road to WrestleMania” begins around January.

This could mean that a possible championship title loss and turn could happen at, or around the annual Royal Rumble PPV. This would set up a match between the brothers Rhodes, which both superstars, and many of their fans on Twitter and Facebook, have been asking for the last few years. Goldust actually had a Twitter hashtag and campaign going after his Royal Rumble appearance this past January, which was petitioning for a match with his brother at WrestleMania 29.

It seems as if this match could actually happen in New Orleans in 2014.
