Former WCW star and Mexican wrestling talent Hector Garza passed away Saturday, May 26, 2013. Garza was 43 years old. The former LWO member was diagnosed with lung cancer back in 2012. He then retired from professional wrestling to begin chemotherapy and treatment.

Garza is most recognizable to American fans for his in-ring work during his runs with WCW and TNA. In WCW, he was a member of the NWO spinoff stable, the LWO (Latin World Order) with Eddie Guerrero. He was last active in the the Mexican wrestling promotion, Perros del Mal Producciones, and last competed in August of 2012.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
