Former WCW Executive Vice President, WWE personality, and current TNA Executive Producer Eric Bischoff provided comments on Twitter this weekend regarding the recent release of TNA official Bruce Prichard. Prichard was released last week due to the company’s recent financial struggles.
Bischoff had nothing but positive things to say about working with Prichard, even going as far as to say he would “miss working” with him.
Been a tough, productive week. Great team work netted a great Impact on Spike Thursday. I’m going to miss working with Bruce Pritchard…

Bruce has been a key player at the Big Show and knows the business. But I respect the fact that he puts family first.

While it is uncertain as to what Bischoff is referring to when he says, “I respect the fact that he puts his family first,” but the smart money would be on that he is referencing Prichard’s refusal to re-negotiate his contract with the company. Rumors have stated that Prichard was released after refusing to restructure his TNA contract.
