Dolph Ziggler suffered a concussion during the Jan. 6 “WWE Superstars” tapings. WWE.com broke the story immediately following the Jan. 6 edition of “Monday Night Raw.”
Ziggler apparently suffered the concussion at the hands of “The Big Guy” Ryback. WWE doctor, Dr. Christ Amann, claims that signs of the injury were evident shortly after Ziggler received a clothesline from Ryback. Amann says,
“Unfortunately Dolph sustained a concussion during his match on the clothesline given to him by Ryback. We were able to evaluate him in the ring; he was having some confusion and disorientation. We took him back to the training room and confirmed a concussion. He’s currently feeling better but we’ll proceed with ImPACT testing and further evaluation to determine when we can get him back in the ring.”
This is not the first time Ziggler has dealt with an injury such as this. He suffered a concussion in May of 2013 that kept him away from active competition for over thirty days. WrestlingRumors.net will provide updates on Ziggler’s health and return status as soon as we know more information.
