Many things have been said by Dolph Ziggler lately that have gotten him in hot water with the WWE. He continuously feels the need to share his complaints and frustrations with his current position in the company with anyone that follows him on Twitter, and with any reporter that has a microphone or recording device handy.
While Ziggler’s “big mouth” seem to be the cause of his troubles within the company, which were his own words, other reports claim a different story. According to the Wrestling Observer, Ziggler is in his current spot in the company because the WWE doesn’t believe he will ever be someone that draws “main event” money.
The company is keeping Ziggler around the mid-card (sometimes lower-mid-card) because they feel that this is where he is better served, as they do not see him as someone who will ever “draw a dime.” While it seemed like Ziggler was finally going to get a push in the business and have a long World Heavyweight Championship reign earlier this year, a concussion ended those hopes and the WWE has reverted the “Show-off” back to a program with the United States Championship.
