WWE/TNA Partnership To Continue

Working together. Last night on NXT, TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace appeared on the show, challenging NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez for a championship match at Battleground on June 9.

According to a report from PWInsider, the buzz at tonight’s taping hinted at more collaborations between WWE and TNA beyond Grace’s appearance at Battleground. Sources suggest that NXT talent might feature in future TNA events and programming, though specifics remain elusive. Speculation centers on potential involvement beyond Perez.

Anticipation is brewing for possible showcases during TNA’s events in Chicago, particularly the Against All Odds PPV on 6/14 or the subsequent TV Taping on 6/15 at Cicero Stadium, although nothing is confirmed.

I have to admit, I never thought we would live in a world where WWE would openly partner with one of its famous competitors. It’s clear that WWE doesn’t see TNA as a threat, and this partnership can make a lot of sense for both companies. Perhaps it’s another developmental opportunity for TNA talent, as well as an opportunity for WWE superstars who aren’t as prominent to get more opportunities to show what they can do.
