WWE To Introduce New Title Belt Soon

The only thing constant in life is change. According to a report from GiveMeSport, via WrestleVotes, WWE is planning to unveil a new championship belt ‘very soon’.

WrestleVotes said the following:

There’s a new belt. I don’t know for sure if it’s getting a new name. I don’t know if one of the titles is going away, but there’s a new belt that WWE has had made and the decision-makers have approved. Like, if they wanted to introduce it on TV tomorrow, they could. Those boxes are checked.

It is unknown when exactly this new belt will debut. Furthermore, there is no word on whether or not the belt is a new design for one of WWE’s existing world titles, or if a new championship is going to be introduced altogether.

Roman Reigns is scheduled to defend the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes this Sunday at WrestleMania 39.

 

Editor’s Opinion:

I’ve heard rumors that Triple H does not like the idea of an Undisputed Championship and wants to split the titles up again. If this is true, this might be a perfect way to do it.
