WWE has been running a storyline involving The Miz being in contract negotiations with “Smackdown Live” General Manager Daniel Bryan. Over the weekend, WWE.com reported that the talks have completely broken down, and the following video was posted on Facebook Live, with The Miz saying that he may be traded to “Monday Night Raw:”
In addition, both Miz and Bryan sent out tweets blaming each other for the halting of the discussions:
Know how much you are worth…and put a price tag on it. If @WWE and @WWEDanielBryan can’t see that, I will not say #YES to their terms.
— The Miz (@mikethemiz) September 17, 2016
.@mikethemiz “terms” are not realistic, they are utterly delusional. While he does hold the #ICTitle, he is not the ONLY #SDLive Champion.

Earlier today, Bryan sent out this tweet, saying that he still willing to negotiate with the Intercontinental Champion:
As #SDLive GM, I am always willing to negotiate with all talent on #TeamBlue.

It had been previously reported that although this feud would be continuing for the foreseeable future, it will not lead to the in-ring return of Bryan.
Much of this storyline began with Miz and Bryan had a heating argument on “Talking Smack” a couple of weeks ago:
Editor’s Note:
I love where they are going with this storyline, and hope that it continues throughout the fall season. Miz needs to the Intercontinental Champion for a long time, as he has done so much to elevate the title to relevance that it has not seen in quite some time. This latest episode between the two could lead to Miz making guest appearances on “Raw,” or perhaps if he is traded, getting Rusev and Lana over to “Smackdown Live.” Either way, it makes for compelling television, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
