WWE showcased some of the video The Rock filmed on the inaugural episode of Raw, which was subsequently streamed live on Netflix. However, he later uploaded the entire Live episode in a separate post. The video follows Rock as he respects Paul “Triple H” Levesque and the WWE creative and production team. Additionally, he honors Roman Reigns and others involved in The Bloodline Saga, which he has been a part of since early last year. Rock engages in conversations with WWE President Nick Khan and his son, greets Travis Scott, and expresses his admiration for the chart-topping rapper’s ride. He also shares tequila shots (of his brand, Teremana) with WWE champion Cody Rhodes.
After expressing his thoughts on the significance of pro wrestling on Netflix and snapping a selfie with the persistent Fernando, The Rock drives off. However, he abruptly brakes to check his passenger door and announces, “NXT, tomorrow night at The Shrine. I’ll see you there.”
The Rock’s daughter, Ava, is the General Manager of NXT.
Editor’s Opinion:
This is awesome, and a huge win for the black and gold brand. With WWE launching its new era this week, getting as many eyes on the product as possible is a good thing. The Rock will only add more viewers to the show, and could use his appearance to get a young talent over!
