The Rock Shares Trailer For Upcoming Film ‘Moana 2’

He’s back. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has shared an official teaser trailer for his upcoming film, Moana 2, in which he reprises his role as Maui, the demigod.

The premise of the film is as follows:

After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana journeys to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she has ever faced.

The first film in the Moana series was released in 2016 to critical acclaim. Moana 2 is scheduled for release in the United States on November 27, 2024. Auli’i Cravalho will reprise her role as Moana.

 

Editor’s Opinion:

This is a very cool thing, and I am glad that they are revisiting this franchise! I was a big fan of the first movie, not only for the acting but the soundtrack as well. Lin-Manuel Miranda did such a remarkable job with the music, and he wrote tunes that are still memorable to this day. I do not doubt that this film will do just as well as the first one and I cannot wait to see it!
