It’s the return of one of the most historic pay-per-view events of all time. Last night on Raw, WWE announced that it would be streaming a Network special, Starrcade, this coming Sunday, November 25. It will be a one-hour special, that will feature matches from both Raw and Smackdown.
The show will include matches from a special event that is taking place the evening before, Saturday, November 24.
WWE broadcast this event last year, and was the first time that a show with that name had taken place in almost 20 years. You can see a clip from it below:
Some of the matches that are going to take place are:
Street Fight for the WWE Intercontinental Title
Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins
WWE United States Title Match
Rey Mysterio vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
SmackDown Tag Team Title Match
The New Day vs. The Bar
Steel Cage Match
Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles
Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin
Finn Balor vs. Drew McIntyre
Rusev with Lana vs. The Miz
It is unknown at this time which matches will air on the special.
Editor’s Opinion:
I hope that they make this a regular event every year. Starrcade was one of the most important pay-per-views in the history of NWA/WCW, and was the source of many of the most important matches of all time.
