Whoever emerges as the true monster on “Raw,” will get an opportunity at a beast.

It was announced earlier today on WWE.com that the match between Kane and Braun Strowman that will be taking place tonight will have major implications down the road. The winner of that match will receive an opportunity to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at “Royal Rumble.”

Below is the official announcement from Charlie Caruso:

Two major stipulations added to tonight's Raw matches: Exclusive, Dec. 11, 2017

The two monsters have been in a bitter rivalry ever since the two teamed together at the recent “TLC” pay-per-view in October. They have been getting the upper hand on each other over the last few weeks, and the feud will culminate on tonight’s show.

Editor’s Opinion:

Interesting move. You would think that this will ensure that “the monster among men” gets the win, as Kane’s immediate future in the company is unknown. Strowman and Lesnar put on a great match back at “No Mercy” in September, and if the two go at it one more time in January, I would expect the same!
