Jey Uso Wins 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble

Yeet. Tonight, Jey Uso shocked the world when he outlasted 29 other superstars to win the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble. He eliminated John Cena at the end of the match to claim victory.

Jey Uso has had recent success as a singles competitor. He won the Intercontinental Championship from Bron Breakker on the September 23, 2024 episode of Raw. However, he would lose the championship on the October 21 episode of raw, after interference from the Bloodline. At the most recent Saturday Night’s Main Event, he unsuccessfully challenged Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship.

 

Editor’ Opinion:

This was incredible. I bet that, like me, most people didn’t remotely, consider him as a possibility to win the Royal Rumble. With all of the star power in the final part of the match, Uso was written off as an afterthought. As all of the top superstars eliminated each other, it was looking like Cena would get the victory. However, WWE managed to pull the fast one on us, and award both of the victory. And honestly, he deserves it. Triple H has always said that if you get yourself over, WWE has to push you. Jey Uso is one of the most over superstars in the company. He was a cornerstone of one of the biggest storylines of all time. He deserves this opportunity.
