She’s back, but only for a moment. It had been reported that NXT superstar Cora Jade was injured at a live event in January of this year. She suffered a torn ACL and has been out of action since then.
However, Jade made an unannounced appearance at an NXT live event on Saturday night in Fort Pierce, FL, where she provided an update on her injury. She said that she is still months away from returning, but called out NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez to make it clear that she will be coming after her and the title when she makes her return.
Hope @roxanne_wwe heard @CoraJadeWWE loud and clear… that title will be hers! #NXTFortPierce pic.twitter.com/ZdBPbMrd5F

It is unknown how long Jade will be out of action.
Editor’s Opinion:
I love when surprises like this happen, particularly from superstars who we know are going to be main event players. She seems to be being put in a position where she will have a lengthy career in WWE, and to keep her fresh in the minds of the fans is a smart move. Plus, if Perez does still happen to be the champion when Jade is ready to return, it is an easy way to set up a match that will be a classic. Hopefully, we will see her back in a ring sooner rather than later!
