According to a report from ESPN, Conor McGregor was let into the Barclays Center, where the Media Day was occurring, by credentialed journalists from McGregor’s website, “The Mac Life.” From there, he proceeded to throw objects at a bus, which was taking a group of UFC fighters to a nearby hotel.
In addition, he lifted a dolly and threw it at one of the windows of the bus. You can see a clip of that below:
The report further states that the incident caused several cuts to the face of Michael Chiesa, who is scheduled to fight Anthony Pettis at UFC 223 on Saturday.
UFC president Dana White had the following to say regarding the incident:
“They stormed the building, got down to the loading docks where the fighters were getting on buses and started to attack the buses with trash cans, dollies,” White said. “… This is the most disgusting thing that has ever happened in the history of this company.”
There had been rumors that McGregor might be heading to WWE, but nothing has been confirmed at this point.
We will continue to monitor this story and provide updates as they become available to us.
Editor’s Opinion:
This is criminal behavior, and McGregor should go to jail for this. Period, the end.
