WWE can’t seem to catch a break lately, but apparently its superstars can. According to a report from Wrestling Inc., Braun Strowman was written off of television last night to undergo elbow surgery. He has been working with bone spurs since September 2017 and it finally got to a point where surgery was necessary.
He was assaulted by Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre during a six-man Elimination Match that took place last night on Raw. You can see a clip of that match below:
It was announced on Raw last night that The Monster Among Men will face Baron Corbin at the upcoming TLC pay-per-view. From WWE.com:
After Strowman fulfilled his side of the bargain, however, Stephanie cited lawyer difficulties as the reason why she couldn’t give Strowman exactly what he wanted on Raw. Instead, she created a match between Strowman and Corbin for WWE TLC, and if Strowman wins that contest, he’ll finally receive his Universal Title opportunity against Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble. If Corbin walks out with a victory, though, he will become the permanent General Manager of Monday Night Raw. And if he doesn’t, he will lose all authority.
It is unknown at this point if this match will take place. We will continue to monitor this story and provide updates as they become available to us.
