Below are some highlights of the interview:
On if not having a “Hell In A Cell” match is a step back for the women’s division:
“No, I don’t think so, personally,” Becky told Digital Spy.
“Say for example you had Bray Wyatt in Hell in Cell last year – I know he’s not in our division, but if he’s not in a Hell in a Cell match this year, it’s not a step backwards.
“Not for him or for the brand or for the company. It’s just a rotation.”
On being left off of the card:
“To me, it always feels like a missed goal. I feel like I’m on a football field, I’m a striker and I missed a goal,” she admitted.
“In WWE things always change and there’s still hope, but you’ve just got to learn to ride it.
“You always want to be on top and you always want to be having pay-per-view matches and you always want to be having classics.
On the match between Charlotte and Natalya:
“I’ve known Natalya since I was 18 on my first tour of Japan. I watched her go through that tour with a torn ACL and pull through as if it was nothing.
“I’ve watched her have so many incredible matches, for example with Charlotte, and never really get the credit she deserves, so I wasn’t surprised at all.
“She’s from one of the greatest wrestling families of all time, so of course she would be the champion again.”
