Gunner hadn’t appeared on episodes of “Impact Wrestling” for quite some time, mainly sticking to TNA’s “One Night Only” specials for the past several months.
He had one run with the TNA World Tag Team Championship as the partner of “The Cowboy” James Storm, as well as one singles reign as TNA World Television Champion.
Pro Wrestling Illustrated ranked Gunner at No. 40 in the PWI 500 in 2014.
Editor’s Note
Good on Gunner for apparently leaving TNA on his own terms. He wasn’t being used, so there was really no reason for him to stick around and wait things out. Gunner has a tremendous look and is underrated between the ropes. He won’t have any trouble finding bookings for the remainder of 2015.
