In a story first broken by SEScoops.com, current WWE SmackDown general manager Vickie Guerrero will be leaving World Wrestling Entertainment after WrestleMania XXX weekend.
According to the report, Guerrero will be leaving on good terms as she moves on to explore outside business ventures.
She first debuted with the company back in 2005 in an angle involving her late husband Eddie Guerrero, as well as Rey Mysterio. She’s been associated with many superstars in the past, including Edge, Chavo Guerrero, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger and Lay-Cool.
Guerrero has been used as more of an authority figure in recent years, being a former Managing Supervisor on RAW, as well as her current gig as GM of SmackDown.
She’s expected to be used on tonight’s show in New Orleans as the WWE Divas Championship is defended in the first-ever Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational.
Editor’s Note
I’ve been a big fan of Vickie’s work. She drew as much heat as any of the top heels in the business. On behalf of the entire WrestlingRumors.net team, we would like to wish Guerrero the best in all of her future endeavours. *Insert John Laurinaitis voice*
